Nyangela says Rhinos not going down

Former Black Rhinos striker Maronga Nyangela said this week his former club would escape relegation at the end of the season.

The former PSL goal-getter also believed the army side had the best ammunition to achieve its quest. “Rhinos are in my heart and seeing them struggling like that makes me angry, especially as one of the seasoned teams in the country. As a former player, I help the team through motivational sessions and right now, the team will survive, even though they are still languishing at the bottom five of the log,” said the man who was known as “The Bomber” during his playing days.

“There is no thought in our and the players’ minds about the possibility of being relegated. We have not given it a thought because we know we will survive at the end of the season. The morale in the team is always very high.”

Rhinos have experienced players in their ranks, like the well-travelled Gilbert Mushangazhike, Lot Chiunga and Ernest Marufu. “These are the kind of players that will take us to a respected position and through them we will avoid relegation”.
