Promics back in the studio to fight drug abuse

Fast-rising Hip Hop wizard kid, ‘Promics’ is back in the studio recording his yet-to-be-titled fourth single encouraging young people to fight drug and alcohol abuse.

“As a young man I am very much concerned with how my peers are abusing drugs and liquor,” said a determined Promics, whose original name is Bonnie Kudzai Goredema.

“As young people we must not always wait for our government to guide us. We have to encourage one another of a better life. The future lies with us and I believe with abuse of drugs and alcohol there is no future. My single will preach, educate and encourage my fellow young people to fight hard in removing the use and abuse of these substances which hinder progress and development in communities. This single will be released in the next coming few weeks and I believe young people will learn a lot from it,” he said.

Promics, 23, came into limelight through the release of his hit singles Zimfreedom and Streetpreez which featured award winning Hip Hop master Rhyme Assassin at the beginning of the year.

Two months ago he released his debut single titled ‘Africa’ which featured celebrated star Mcee Sharky. The track is still enjoying airplay across various radio stations.
