The single was first released in July and then followed by the video, which is doing well online.

The video had more than 700 YouTube views just three days after being uploaded on the international video platform.

Idolophansi features on Taz’s forthcoming debut album following his long absence from the local music industry. He parted ways with Willis Wataffi in 2007.

The two were known as Africa Revenge – a ground-breaking afro-fusion group that became a household name during the turn of the millennium.

Together they churned out several notable tracks, including Anochengeta, Maweni and the chartbuster Wanga.

Following their fall-out, Taz, real name Mehluli Moyo, quit singing while Wataffi went on to produce two solo projects. Taz, however, kept himself busy helping other recording artistes.
