The new boys have shocked PSL big guns since the season began, beating cross-town rivals, Highlanders in both their league fixtures, before they dismissed Dynamos 1-0 to progress to the semi-finals of the Mbada Diamonds Cup a fortnight ago.
“We are now looking to finish the league in the top five. We are not here by mistake and we will achieve that goal,” said Ncube. “I am happy the boys are playing well and understand that we are in the league to compete, not to add the numbers. We really mean business. I am impressed by the fact that we have proved that by giving the so-called giants a hard time as we have beaten both Bosso and Dembare. Already people are calling us giant killers, but our major aim is to beat anyone who comes our way.”
Ncube admitted a lot had still to be done to complete the rise to one of the best in the league and start competing for more serious honours. “We are working hard to try and correct some mistakes that made us drop valuable points. I know it won’t be easy, but with the determination we have, it will be done eventually,” he said.
Couldn’t be written any better. Reading this post reminds me of my old room mate! He always kept talking about this. I will forward this article to him. Pretty sure he will have a good read. Thanks for sharing!
