Two of the country’s three mobile phone operators, M-Cel and Vodacom, have hired MER Group to expand their networks.
According to the company, “the new tower sites will provide the operators with improved coverage and network quality”.
It has opened a warehouse and logistic facilities in Mozambique and is employing teams of workers, engineers and tower experts.
The company’s representative, Uri Bar-Yosef, commented, “we are delighted to be working in partnership with two leading mobile operators as we take our first steps into Mozambique. Our continued expansion in Africa emphasises our belief in the growth of Africa’s mobile telecommunications market.
