“It was unbelievable for me to win such a big race against top runners,” Chinyanga said. “It was my fourth best win so far this year and a great start to the year, but now I have to stay focused. I am still in great form and I believe I’m ready for more races. I believe I will win more races before end of the year..”
In February, he won the annual Bronkhorstspruit 32km and recently won the Mazda Zoom Zoom Half. He also came third in the Deloitte Pretoria Marathon and second in the Eskom race.
