Zhangazha resigns from VMCZ

The Executive Director of the Voluntary Media Council of Zimbabwe, Takura Zhangazha, has resigned from the organisation.

In a statement the VMCZ Board Chairperson, Alex Muchadehama, said Zhangazha’s resignation would be with effect from the November 30 2013.

“The VMCZ board advises members that Takura Zhangazha has tendered his resignation from the post of Executive Director of the organisation. He informed the board, due to his pursuit of other interests , he is unable to continue serving in the same capacity of the Executive Director of VMCZ,” said Muchadehama in the statement.

Zhangazha, who is also former Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA ) Director, joined VMCZ two years go after he took over from John Gambanga who resigned from the organization.

Zhangazha confirmed his resignation to The Zimbabwean.
