According to a police report issued by ZRP, only six bodies were identifiable, while 18 were burnt beyond recognition.
Next of kin of those identified were advised while efforts are being made to identify the remaining bodies.

Families of the deceased will receive $200 from the government and
$250 from Green Fuel per each body to cover the funeral expenses with the first burial beginning today.
Circumstances leading to the accident are that the T-35 truck, which was ferrying mourners from Chegutu to Mariya village, encroached onto the opposite lane where the Green Fuel truck was coming from.Post published in: News
