Ndoro who spent the just-ended local season on loan at Chicken Inn, was named among the 11 best players in the local league. Automatically, he is nominated for the eventual Soccer Star of the Year accolade. The centre forward is in line for a double after finishing the season as the leading top goal scorer as his side eventually finished sixth on the 16-team table.
“As a club, we are excited that the player has been named as one of the best players in the country. We were not aware of that until you broke the news to us. What we were aware of is that he will lift the Golden Boot. That is testament that we made a quality signing in Ndoro,” said Gordon Masondo, the Aces Communications Manager.
“We are excited that he will rejoin the club at the end of the week on the back of that impressive form. We are confident that he will add value to our team especially during the second half of the season. Before that, we have to secure a work permit for him and the permanent residence permit for fellow Zimbabwean national, Energy Murambadoro,” Masondo added.
The Bulawayo-born striker signed a two-year deal with Aces at the beginning of the 2013/14 campaign after impressing on trial. The Mpumalanga-based side loaned him out to Aces after his international transfer clearance arrived outside the transfer window period.
The giant forward can only be registered to play in January when the transfer window reopens.Post published in: Football
