Garande, who won the Fantasy Hair Competition at Afro Hair and Beauty Live Show in 2012 was recognised for her skills and expertise in Afro styling.
She joined Afrotherapy in 2012 as part of the organisation’s Creative Team. The awards, which recognises top afro stylists from the United Kingdom and Europe puts the spotlight on the skill and artistry involved in Afro styling. The Afrotherapy team were recognised as the Finalist, Styling Team of the Year 2013.
