Misihairabwi is a fly-by-night politician who is stuck on Welshman Ncube’s back for political survival. The party has had more losses than gains since
2011 congress that brought new leadership into the party.
If the MDC is to survive, Misihairabwi must leave the party now because of her links with Zanu(PF) and senior CIO officers. The party currently lacks tribal balance in terms of representation in the management committee.
The departure of Edward Mkhosi and Siyabonga Malandu Ncube is a blow to the party that will leave a big void that will not be easily built.
It is wrong and silly for some senior party members to say ‘those who want to go can go’. It is also foolish for someone to believe that there is anything called strategic silence in politics.
This was the worst and childish strategy I have never seen anywhere. Welshman Ncube should choose between the party and an individual. The party can still survive without Priscilla. – Grace Sibanda, Bulawayo
