It is now unfair for anyone with five senses to continue believing that Ncube was responsible for the split. Anti-violence statements by various foreign missions should be applauded.
It is now clear that Tsvangirai frustrated Ncube, Gibson Sibanda, Edwin Mushoriwa, David Coltart and Priscilla Misihairabwi when he stormed out of the national council to form his own village party that he named the MDC-T.
In my honest view Tsvangirai is today on trial for what has all along been attributed to Ncube – whom he denigrated left, right and centre.
Ncube is still a key player in Zimbabwe’s politics carrying the hopes of many serious citizens who are hunting for political change. Those serious with regime change in Zimbabwe should talk to work with him or join him before it’s too late.
Some of us do not speak the same language as him but believe that he is the best leader to consider president. Tendai Biti and Elton Mangoma will soon be labelled tribalists for telling Tsvangirai to go. – GM, by email

i dont understand why anyone with an indepth knowledge of the Zimbabwe Intelligence dynamics would blame Tsvangirai for the 2005 collapse, this is a man who was monitored and infiltrated way back in the 80s when he took over from Mugabe as the ZCTU head honcho. The moment he sidelined the state on major dicisions in the labour movement he became the target. by the time he led the NCA 70% of cadres around him were operatives from the CIO and when that very same organisation gave birth to the MDC it was haywire. the CIO Political intelligence desk within the Directorate of Counter Intelligence was responsible for the infiltration , demob, neutralization and recruitment of the MDC .
