Titled ‘Commander Mqabuko’, the much awaited10-tracked album encourages the country to fulfil Nkomo’s wishes of a united state and promotion of cultural values.

“We hope our album will remind Zimbabweans of what the late Father Zimbabwe stood for by uniting them and taking the country progressively forward,” said group Director Mkhululi Hadebe.

“People have been pushing for this album and I am pleased we have completed working on it. We are just finalising few things and very soon we will be releasing it officially We have a great song highlighting the works and life of Nkomo as well as some that promote social activities and encourage people to focus on developing society despite our differences.”

Recorded at Stoneridge Productions, other tracks featured include title tract Commander Mqabuko, Kuyabikwa, Gijima mfana and Nomalanga.

Established in 2008, Amakhosi Amahle is prominently known for their cultural performances in the SADC region and hit album released last year ‘Siyaya’. The group also does poetry, stage plays and cultural dance.
