But most of the people awaiting resettlement left their homes with very little and will require a lot of support to restart their lives. Government has been struggling to provide for their upkeep with the majority of support coming from churches and NGOs.
“We have identified permanent places where new schools will now be built. We have got people and companies who have taken up the challenge to build permanent schools and government is also putting up its own structures,” said Bhasikiti.
