World soccer governing body Fifa asked Zifa to clear the former Castle PSL Golden Boot winner to play for the club that gave him fame a few seasons ago. “DeMbare is my home and I am very pleased to be welcomed back home,” said Mutuma.
“I had a great experience in SA, but everything happens for a reason. I really wanted to play, but I didn’t get that time. I will always be grateful for the opportunity Bloemfontein Celtic management gave me.”
Mutuma said he was working hard to see himself regain the form that lured him to SA last year: “What’s important is for me to regain form and help my club defend the title. That is the reason I came back home for and I will need support from the DeMbare family.”
The player was deregistered by Safa on April 30 and his ITC was delivered to Zifa the same day. Celtic also issued him a clearance certificate on April 9.Post published in: Football
