The president’s wife bemoaned the rate at which young girls were being raped and called for rapists to be beheaded.

At last – something to get our teeth into on behalf of our children, both boys and girls – not just the girls.
However, the only trouble here is that with beheading many a man would be happy to lose his head and die for such a crime, but he would be mortified and devastated to make headlines by losing “the family jewels” because of child abuse!
I think your statement deserves publicity world-wide, Madam, not just here in Zimbabwe. And to the rest of our sisters, no more window dressing on this subject please! Say it from the bottom of your hearts that such a law may be passed in Parliament for the rest of the world to see Zimbabweans are leaders on this crime when it comes to punishment. The only problem I see here is that the rest of the world will start sending their pedophiles to Zimbabwe for punishment! It would however, be one way of making money to finance our Health system.
In the days of yore in the ancient palaces of Thor eunuchs were a normal feature of everyday life. Today in Asia there are 5-6 million eunuchs according to the www, but therein the trouble lies with Human Rights.
How do they justify their bleating against the Rights of a Child? If we do not stand up in protecting the children, do not be surprised if one day the boys and girls thus harmed will retaliate by not protecting and standing up for the old, the frail, and old age pensioners.

Does this mean that as in Amsterdam our prostitutes are at last going to be registered legally and recognized as providing a vital and relevant service to those who might otherwise find a boy or a girl easier to access? In some countries the prostitutes actually pay tax on their earnings. Now there is a thought to contemplate… provided they are registered and entitled to visit clinics with their heads held high. Reality is that this is the oldest profession in the world and sorry, sisters, but their services could possibly save your child, son or daughter, from being raped. If prostitutes are to remain illegal, they will still be treated like dirt and especially by the police and security guards, and thus forced to operate underground. Save the Children please or they will continue to grow up with no self-worth and struggle to be good citizens of Zimbabwe.
