The media should help spread the message that no one in Zanu (PF) can be compared with Mugabe, so it would be foolhardy for any party member to dream of succeeding him at the coming elective congress, said Mutasa.
“Even I cannot afford to harbour presidential ambitions while Mugabe lives, since his leadership qualities are second to none,” Mutasa said, emphasising that party members were all aware that as long as Mugabe is around there would not be any vacancy at the highest office.
Recently, Mugabe warned ambitious party officials to forget about leading the presidium, saying the people would decide when the right time comes.
ZAPU spokesperson Mjobise Noko said the superman status given Mugabe by his bootlickers reflected the magnitude of the leadership crisis in Zimbabwe today.
“The misinformed belief that Mugabe is the Alpha and Omega of the world is the reason why the country is having such serious problems,” he said.

Minister Mutasa should learn to distinguish being leader of Zanu PF from being the president of Zimbabwe; the two are totally different. Mugabe should not even be in state house since he rigged the last elections!
