SW Radio Africa shortwave broadcasts ended yesterday. Is this a reflection of where our Media is going?

Why react as if it is the end? The end of what… Sound? There is a new generation out there and enough young journos throughout the whole of Zimbabwe to fill the gap with interesting interviews and new music. Sound is like a clenched fist in a bucket of water. You remove it and the water folds back in on itself waiting to part for anything else that comes its way. Sound reacts in the same way. And Zimbabweans are too astute to wait on others to tell them how to think – on a daily basis. It can be time-consuming and draining. Believe in one another.
