The Chicago based musician teamed up with Mawere, who’s organising secretary for the United Movement for Democracy, on the charity project last week.

Abbey is working on three singles written by Mawere, which will be launched on platforms such as Buddie Beats, iTunes and Amazon.

The project is being produced by American king of house music Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk.

Mawere has revealed that he and his mother are cancer sufferers.

“Cancer has been rated the world’s second biggest killer, after war. Even AIDS has fewer victims.”
