Mugabe not on last legs

EDITOR - Tawanda Majoni and everyone else who thinks Robert Mugabe is on his last legs should think again because if you look back in recent history, Dr Banda purportedly lived until he was 100. According to the Economist, he died on 27th November, 1997 which is comparatively recent. This means he did not live to see Zimbabwe get its Independence! Officially he was 91 but his oldest friends believe he was at least 10 years older.

He said he was born in the tiny British protectorate of Nyasaland, now Malawi, in Central Africa, and had walked to South Africa as a young man. But when he returned, some half a century later, he knew no local language and, extraordinary for Africa, had no relations. Some doubted that he had come from there.

I therefore believe Robert will live to 100+ just to prove a point to everyone. Watch this space! – Donette Read Kruger, by email
