Cause for concern

I am worried about my one-year-old son who is always scratching his private parts each time I change his nappy. I am concerned that it may be more than a simple habit like I used to think. What do you suggest I do? – Tracey

It sounds as though may be a cause for concern. The simple interpretation would be that it is hot these days and with high temperatures he is bound to feel that discomfort. But as it is worrying you already, there is need for you to consult the doctor. He may also not be reacting well to the type of diapers you are using but you want a doctor to rule out the possibility of an infection. – Aunty Lisa
