Last week, most of the designers participated in a Quality Assurance Workshop, facilitated by Edgars Stores Limited and Hunnar Management Agency. The workshop was aimed at developing the designers’ skills, not only to showcase quality products on the ramp, but to also get ready for the business of fashion. “A lot of the finishing of local designers is not really up to scratch, hence the need to develop them and also not only give them a platform to showcase, but to also improve their skills,” said the organisers.

The Fashion Week will honour The Ndau Collection, who will also be showcasing at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2014. The Collection is this years’ recipient of the International Fashion Contributor award. Each year, the Matabeleland Fashion Week team will search and reward individuals/establishments that have facilitated capacity growth to the fashion industry. – For more information, please Email: Matabelelandfashionweek@gmail.com or Call: Amanda on 0772851235
