The former Dynamos defender was rushed to hospital with what looked like a serious knock after he collided with a SuperSport United player at the Tuks Stadium on Saturday. His side, University of Pretoria, eventually lost that game 0-3.
Fears were allayed early this week by club spokesman, Pearl Mosoane, who said "He is fine… he just needed two stitches and we are very happy with his recovery progress so far. He has only been given a few days off training and should all go well, he should be back at training sometime this week. He could even play in our next game."
