Government should budget for youth soccer, netball, rugby, cricket and tennis development. Catch them young. It is folly for Zimbabwe to dream of ever clinching continental and world sport championships if sports people are not groomed from academy level. Bosso, what value addition do you still find in the old guard like Ndumiso Gumede? My heart bleeds to witness the once regional soccer giant bushed by PSL light weights and new comers to the league. It’s high time Highlander revisits the youth policy. Please revamp the youth policy which horned soccer greats of yesteryear like Peter Ndlovu, Adam Ndlovu and Benjamin Konjera to name but a few-Marjory Khumalo, Mzilikazi, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
