Mixed fortunes for Denmark-based duo

Warriors forward Quincy Antipas has been in fine form for his Danish top-flight side Hobro, but the picture is not so rosy for compatriot Silas Songani, who is going through a testing period in his first season in Europe with SonderiskE in the same league.

Antipas has played in all of Hobro’s 16 matches so far in the season, starting 14 and scoring three goals in the process. He was in the starting line-up for the team’s 1-0 loss at home to Randers on Sunday before being pulled out for Mathias Bersang after 73 minutes.

Hobro are struggling in mid-table with a single victory from their last five matches. They lie six points off the relegation places, and a point ahead of Silas Songani’s equally struggling SonderiskE.

Unlike Antipas, Songani has lost his place in the starting line-up after a promising start early in the season. The former Harare City winger is yet to start a game since the end of September, having to content with cameo appearances as a substitute mostly late in the second half.
