Chigova believes in Kingstone Nkatha

George Chigova this week voiced belief that his Zimbabwean compatriot, Kingstone Nkatha, would continue to shine in the Absa Premiership, despite having switched clubs.

Nkatha last week ditched runaway log leaders Kaizer Chiefs for SuperSport United, where he will team up with Chigova as they continue their own bid to turn the season around.

Chigova, still struggling to earn the number jersey, said Nkatha would fit in well at the 2013/14 MTN8 champions.

“Nkatha is a brilliant striker and I am very happy that he has joined us,” said the agile Warriors goalkeeper.

“He has everything required of a top striker. He is very strong, aggressive, works hard and has the right frame for a striker and that brings an added advantage to us as a team.”

Nkala, who has previously starred for Free State Stars, Carara Kicks, Black Leopards and Chiefs, left Chiefs in a huff before the expiry of his contract, largely because of the boo-boys from the Naturena giants.
