Stidolph, an assistant under champion trainer Lisa Harris, was issued with a licence two weeks ago, but will start her campaign on her own on Sunday, after she nominated nine horses in the event’s line-up for the day.

Stidolph lines up Trojan War, Dancing Diva and Heavenly Girl from South Africa, as well as Zimbabwe bred Nefarious in the 1,300 metre Maiden Plate that will open proceedings for the day.

She is also taking care of Alula Borealis and Count the Music in the Merit Rated 90 Handicap which will also be over 1 300 metres. Both Alula Borealis, and Count The Music fall under the Harris stable, but are now under the guidance of Stidolph.

She is also saddling Killa Man in the Merit Rated 75 Handicap as well as Boxer Soxer in the Merit Rated 50 Handicap and Print the Pounds in another of the Maiden Plate Races.

Stidolph completes her line up with Maturin in the Graduation Plate.

All in all, 101 horses have made the final list for the day, after a week of rest caused by the absence of three of the country’s top jockeys – Quinton Riddle, Kevin Derere and Brendon MaNaughton, who took part in the International Jockeys Challenge at the Ngong race ourse in Nairobi, Kenya where they finished top ahead of South Africa, Kenya, and Mauritius.
