“Fighting is in my blood and I was born for it,” Moyo told The Zimbabwean in an interview earlier in the week.
“Cage fight is an excellent sport compared to all other fighting disciplines like boxing and wrestling. I am prepared to die in the cage while doing my country proud. I am fit and ready for any challenge in the cage.
“What I like about the cage fight is that you can use arms, kick and or choke an opponent. The difference is that in boxing you have to concentrate and you have to be cautious because you can’t do something like hitting an opponent at the back of their head.”
Moyo has maintained a fine run of form since he opted for cage fights early last year. In his last fight, he beat Lance “Hulk Slash” Cerenio in a heavyweight bill in South Africa.
He expressed hope that he would get more fights before he goes for the EFC heavyweight title. “I still want at least three fights before I contest for the EFC heavyweight title. I want at least seven wins so that I can get more experience,” he said.
Moyo last fought in November last year, when he beat Knife Didier-Kolola in Cape Town, South Africa, while he had earlier in the year beaten Wilhelm “Tiny” Straus.
