Nothing but empty rhetoric

Mugabe cannot help those being slaughtered in South Africa. All he can offer is empty rhetoric. The President often mocks America and Britain at each opportunity he gets. He speaks a lot of hot air about ‘defending our sovereignty.’

His looting army generals encourage these hallucinations. They too tell us that they ‘stand ready to defend what-what.’ But they are powerless. If three American civilians were under attack in a foreign land, you can bet your bottom dollar that Uncle Sam’s navy seals would be sent to defend them and bring them home, at all costs.

There are no jobs back home. Accommodation is scarce. The taps are dry and electricity supply is erratic. If three million Zimbabweans were to suddenly return from exile, Mugabe would most likely be overthrown in an uprising. Simple logic; anybody who emigrated, post 1999, is most likely not a fan of the President.

Robert Mugabe is indeed an inspiration. Thanks to him, millions who were once comfortable in their own country have been inspired to travel.
