Chitsike joins Eisenhower Fellows

Kudakwashe Chitsike, the Director of the Research and Advocacy Unit, is one of 25 international leaders selected for the Eisenhower Fellowship’s 2015 Women’s leadership programme.

This is an intensive seven weeks of study and professional networking that will take Fellows across the United States from October 4 to November 22, 2015. Participants make a commitment to mentor women in their home countries and regions after the completion of the fellowship to advance the next generation of emerging women leaders.

The women were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants from 37 countries. Participants in the WLP will receive EF’s coveted fellowship experience. They will travel to several cities in the U S and attend 50 to 60 appointments. They are expected to use this unique opportunity to identify concrete ways in which they can better their communities and advance their professional disciplines.
