The Rotary Club of Highlands, assisted by St George’s College, once again presents African Voice, the all-female a cappella quartet, together with the voices of St George’s College boys, Old Georgians and Zimspiration choristers, along with some guest solo appearances. Produced and directed by Kundisai Mtero. In this concert, the group will revisit and celebrate the birth of the King in an interestingly different performance in song, music and narrative with an Afrocentric flavour, garnished with “Zimbo” satire! Saturday December 5 and Sunday December 13 – Auditions for a musical show at Reps Theatre. Auditions will be held on two occasions for a show called The Musical World Of Disney. This will feature music from Disney shows and will celebrate one of the greatest minds of the entertainment business. First audition, Saturday December 5 from 8.30am to 12noon; second audition, Sunday December 13, from 10am to 12 noon. Venue: Adrian Stanley Room at Reps Theatre. Show run will be March 9 to 24 (rehearsals start January) and will be directed by Sue Bolt, Meg Mackenzie and Mario Ciampi. Please bring prepared music, preferably from a Disney show.
