The promotion runs for the next three months.

Code named 7X bonus airtime, the promotion will also see customers who use the service getting back seven times the talk time in the form of free minutes, SMS and mobile internet upon achieving the daily target.

If a customer has got a daily usage target of 50c, then on achieving that he or she will get 10 free minutes, 10 Mb of Data, and 10 SMSs and free bonus which is worth more than $3.50.

Speaking at the official launch of the promotion, an Econcet executive, Mellany Mariri, said the promotion was a way of thanking “our” customers for being loyal to “us” for many years of “our” existence.

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe CEO, Douglas Mboweni, said the company’s desire for “our” clients to enjoy value for their money motivated the promotion.

“Today we are giving them (customers) an opportunity to talk more, SMS more and surf the internet more and indeed we can safely say that Econet Gives You More,” said Mboweni.

“Realising that our valued clients’ average daily spending trends are not equal, all offers are personalised,” he added.

The mobile service provider which has an estimated 9 million subscribers representing over 65.3% of the mobile market continues to be innovative with the aim of conquering the entire market.
