Twenty-five years after land reform in Zimbabwe: a short documentary on lessons learned

What have we learned from our study, 25 years after land reform in Zimbabwe? Drawing on the research that we have been doing since the early 2000s, we wanted to highlight some of the key findings. Alport Ndebele and team put together an excellent short video offering some highlights.

Do take a look at the film via the link below (don’t forget to click on subtitle icon if you want them). Well worth 9 minutes of your time!

There will be much more in our forthcoming book (due with the publisher in October, out in 2027), and there’s plenty already on this blog site for you to browse through (in fact nearly 650 posts!).

And if you want to see more videos on different aspects of our work, check out our YouTube channel, ZimLandReform – YouTube. These include the recent ones on our exchange visit and the series of five testimonies from A1 land reform farmers. Older videos include our 2014 series on “Making markets: land reform, markets and new local economies” and our 2011 series “Zimbabwe’s land reform: voices from the field”.
