Sex slavery row at church

Some Zimbabwean organizations are caught in the web, with accusations that officials are demanding sex in order to assist desperate young ladies. A young girl aged 14 who refused to named said, “My boyfriends at the church give me food and money and there nothing else I can do to survive. Most of my friends are involved in the relationships.”
“Our patience is running out as our place of worship has been turned into a brothel. If we raise the issue we are labelled xenophobic. Either the church members will be chased from their building or the refugees will take over. The Department of Social Services should move in as the situation is getting out of hand,” said one angry senior church member. Men staying in the building are now hunting down desperate young Zimbabwe girls in the city for sex in the church. There is no restriction by church authorities to vet whether the people are genuinely married or they are engaged in immoral sex acts.
One Zimbabwean staying at Central Methodist Church said, “Some church members on several occasions have stumbled on couples having sex in the church or lifts during the day, but nothing has been done to them. The wheels of discipline are off.” Fights are breaking out almost every night over girlfriends and there are fears that more killings might take place. Recently, there has been influx of young Zimbabwean girls fleeing to South Africa because of the economic meltdown at home. Many girls, especially from rural backgrounds, are forced to join the Green Bomber militias where they are raped.
