Black and Huber went up a break twice in the second set but couldn’t hold them. Chan and Chuang took a 6-3 lead in the tiebreak and that was too much for Black and Huber to overcome.
The third set wasn’t a contest as the African pair dominated and rolled to victory.
This was the first doubles title for either woman.
It was a good showing for Chan and Chuang, who knocked out the defending champions in the semifinals, the second-seeded Chinese pair of Zi Yan and Jie Zheng in straight sets. – from Itai Dzamara
