De-mbare clashed with the Cote d’Ivoire’s Asec Mimosas in the final of the 1998 African Champions league showdown where they painfully lost 4-2 at Rufaro stadium.Dynamos is in Group A – a possible group of death- together with Zamalek, Al Ahly and Asec Mimosas. Group B will feature Nigeria’s Enyimba, TP Mazembe of Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan’s Al Hilal and Coton Sport Garoua of Cameroon.
