White city for PSL matches

stadiumBULAWAYO White City stadium has been given the thumbs up to host premier soccer league matches. Until now all PSL matches in the city were being played at Barbourfields stadium, home to highlanders. PSL is also considering using Dulibadzimu stadium in Beitbridge, which has undergone renovations to meet the requirements of the league.

Addressing journalists at a media workshop Kennedy Ndebele, the PSL secretary general, told the media that it was now up to the clubs to make use of White city.

Following recommendations by clubs that White City be used as an alternative venue as PSL we saw no reason why such a request should not be granted, he said.

The venue could be used by the citys two other clubs, Njube Sundowns, who have resorted to using Gwanda stadium for its home matches, and Bantu Rovers, who share Barbourfields with Highlanders.
