Harare- The training of rappoteurs started today, in Harare. The rappotuers will be recording the views of the people during the constitutional outreach program. The rappotuer who spoke to the Daily Agenda and requested anonymity said that they are not allowed to talk to the media. She confirmed that the training has started today and all the 210 rappotuers attended and it will end tomorrow.
Bulawayo- Economists have said that the failure of some banks to meet the capital requirements is likely to cause instability in small businesses in the country. Kudakwashe Tapfuma said most of the banks which failed to reach the capital requirements stipulated by the Reserve Bank cannot lend money to small businesses which need funding. He said the central bank is not likely to order those banks, which do not have the capacity to contribute to economic growth, to go into curatorship. Banks that failed to meet capital requirement of 10 million US dollars include TN Bank, ZABG, NMB and MBCA.
