Marange turned 45years recently and it meant that it was time up for him according to FIFA regulations. However ZIFA insists the retirement age is 50. Marange, who qualified to be a referee in 1989, officiated in numerous local and international matches. I can call it time up for me and one should not over stay his welcome, said Marange.
Marange said he felt he had accomplished his dream and he was giving a chance to the upcoming referees to shine. I feel I should take a break and leave the rest to the upcoming referees because they seem to have a lot of potential and it is about time that these guys are given a chance to shine, said Marange.
