Mitchell, an 18 year old Harare boy is causing viral excitement from his base in Belgium. He has made great strides from his days as the seven year old boy who answered his calling like a gallant knight. Only that his was not a stallion to ride on, but a KTM 50cc motorbike; tiny enough for the novice yet equally ready to harbor great ambitions. With the support of his family and the right attitude, he has set himself extraterrestrial goals.
After winning a gallery of domestic and regional titles in Namibia and South Africa, he then embarked on a great journey to participate in the viciously competitive European Championships. Sean and his older brother, Sasha were the first people of color to compete in the Belgian and European Championships. Europe is the traditional centre of Motocross, and the Belgian championships feature amongst the best on the continent. Sean is now an emerging Motocross whiz and consistently raises Zimbabwes flag to the skies by standing his ground in exotic locations like Cortela, Portugal and Castelnau de Levie, France.
His lighting fast speeds and instinctive ability to pilot his bike, a 250cc Suzuki RMZ has earned him the nickname; S550 (a combination of his first name and race number). It is not surprising to note that his emblem has a winged design on it; most likely symbolizing Zimbabwean faith and determination as epitomized by the national bird.
