HARARE Forgotten urban grooves pioneer David Chifunyise The album called Classics Vol One features all the hits that made Chifunyise a household name as far as Urban Grooves music is concerned. The potentially explosive album includes the all time hit, Tauya Naye, which dominated the airwaves in the early 2000s. Other popular tracks include Sarudzai and Maheu.
In an interview, Chifunyise said the album had also some gospel tunes. It is a special album to all my fans because I have been away from music for quite some time now, as I was committed to my work. I have therefore not forgotten my fans and I have decided to come up with this new offering, he said. The musician said the album was now available to purchase.
