PLYMOUTH - English Premier League club, Plymouth has lined up Zimbabwean international left back Onesimo Bhasera The Zimbabwe international is set to spend the rest of the season on loan to Blackpool, with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer. Blackpool’s former Argyle manager Ian Holloway has swooped for Bhasera after Championship outfit Crystal Palace stalled on a deal to buy him.?Bhasera, 24, was in Blackpool last Wednesday to hold talks about a switch to the Seasiders.
They will pay a loan fee to financially-stricken Argyle to take him until the end of the season.Bhasera was signed as a free agent by Argyle last March after they successfully appealed against a decision to refuse him a work permit.? He had impressed then Pilgrims’ boss Paul Mariner during a trial in January. Bhasera has made a total of 35 appearances for Argyle, and scored his first goal in the 3-1 win at MK Dons on January 18.
He suffered a knee injury in the same match and was ruled out when the Pilgrims lost 2-0 away to Charlton Athletic last slightly more than a week ago.
