Congratulations to the people of Egypt for overthrowing a 30 year-old dictatorship in just 18 days. I know that as Zimbabweans we can do it but not in 18 days, let us remain patient and push the dictator off the edge. Anonymous.
Do not compare Egypt with Zimbabwe. The two are different worlds. Demonstrations do not work here in Zimbabwe so let us not fool ourselves that we can overthrow Mugabe in such a short time. Realist, Harare.
Egypt showed the way for us in Zimbabwe, let us go for it MaZimbabwe. Hatichada zvemadictator muAfrica. Anonymous.
No more lies.
Zimbabweans are very intelligent. I want to warn the politicians that nomatter how much they lie, we will be able to sift through their words and establish the real truth. Jingles can play 24/7 and speeches can be made, rallies can be organized but the truth will stand out. Taramba Kunyeperwa.
What reconciliation?
In 1980 the ZANU (PF) government said there was reconciliation for all the bad things done by the whites. We lived peacefully until 2000 when the party decided to ignore its promise by putting in place racist laws. Should we pay for the sins of our ancestors? Confused white Zimbabwean son of the soil.
Price cut welcome
I would like to welcome the price cut by The Zimbabwean. Thanks for leading the way in providing good quality news at an affordable price. Keep the flag flying and keep giving us the best of news. Avid Reader, Kwekwe
Lesabe a hero
Whether ZANU (PF) accords Tenjiwe Lesabe a hero status or not, she remains a hero because ZAPU, where she defected to, is a revolutionary party. Xa, Magwegwe.
Stop the violence
Violence is never a solution to anything so I urge Zanu (PF) to stop beating people and start delievering its promises to the people. Otherwise when the polls come, we will give them a shagging, worse than the one we gave them in 2008. Anonymous
Dhewa is a huge force
I would like to comment on the medias sudden attacks on Sungura giant Tongayi Moyo. Some journalists are taking advantage of Moyos illness to write articles that show he is on his way down. Dhewas demise is caused by a natural illness and it is unfair to castigate him on account of this. He might be down now, but he remains one of the greatest musicians ever to grace Zimbabwes landscape and I would like to urge everyone, including all the journalists to pray for his recovery so that he can give us some more hit songs.
