The former Caps United goalkeeper has had a forgettable season at Bidvest Wits with injury and the impressive form of youngster Dareen Keet relegating him to the bench. But Wits coach Roger de Sa says this will change this afternoon with Murambadoro set to make a rare appearance in the absence of Keet who is trying out in Europe.

The Zimbabwean did not hide his excitement at the prospect of helping Wits finish the season in a respectable position.
I am happy to be back playing. To be honest, it was not easy as the young man (Keet) has done a wonderful job during my absence. He is a big talent. At the end of the day, it is the coachs decision as who will play in any particular match. We are one big family at Wits where there are three good keepers. As such, we always support whoever is fielded.
Wits play Platinum Stars, who are captained by fellow Zimbabwean keeper, Tapuwa Kapini, at Bidvest Stadium in their last match of the season. Besides 20-year-old Keet, Murambadoro also competes with Eduan Naude for a place in the starting XI.
Having previously played in the South African topflight at Hellenic and Benoni Premier United and spending a brief stint at Bnei Sakhnin in Israel, the Gokwe-born player is the most experienced of the group. But incessant injuries have stunted the progress of the Zimbabweans career.
Meanwhile, de Sa said he was not losing sleep at the prospect of losing key players to other teams after impressive performances by Wits. The likelihood of our youngsters leaving the club to overseas teams does not scare us as we will continue to produce young players at our academy. Hopefully next season, we will improve in our consistency which then enables us to be contenders for the title, he said at the clubs annual Player Wards.
