GABORONE - The civil service in Botswana is on strike due to no wage increase for the past three years, despite of the rising inflation.
An eye witness report send to The Zimbabwean said: “Now students are on strike for their education. They break and loot shops for fun. They kill each other and throw stones at the police. Anyway, it looks as if a compromise of a 12% increase will be reached.”
