The incident happened at the weekend when Muchauraya was in custody after his arrest last friday in Mutare by the Law and Order Section department.
Muchauraya is being charged with the alleged murder of former MDC-T MP, John Nyamande who was killed in a car crash in 2009. He is also facing charges of allegedly threatening to kill Nyarora.
The winner Pishayi Muchauraya who was Monday morning in Rusape court, said, “It is true that I was confirmed. I got 447 yes votes,”he said before terminating the call because of fear of contempt of court.
“The truth of the matter is that Muchauraya won. We were on the ground the very day. What made Nyarota lose the primary is that he was using the police to torment Muchauraya. People in the MDC doubted his credentials and his relationship with ZANU (PF). They suspected him of being a ZANU (PF) plant.”

Pleased Nyarota lost. Not sure that he can be trusted bearing in mind what he did to Charles Kuwaza in an effort to earn ZANU’s respect.
I can guarantee you he will have some very negative comments about MDC and these will be highlighted in the pro government papers
