“I am not yet pleased with my performances since I joined Celtics,” Mutuma conceded to The Zimbabwean.
“I am still working hard at training and fighting hard to reach the level that will satisfy me and power the club to greater heights. With the support I am getting form my team-mates, supporters and technical team, I know there will be a turn-around soon and I will start to deliver again.”
Back home, Mutuma was a sharp-shooter, having hammered in 26 goals for Dynamos. The international striker still believed that given more game time he could still score more than 10 goals for Phunya Sele Sele before the end of this season.
“I am still aiming for 10 goals. The squad has lots of quality players, who are going to make an impact over the years,” said Mutuma, who remains unmoved by rumours that he could be off-loaded during the current transfer window.
“I am focusing on my game, not side stories. I have a mandate to help the club, not worry myself about what I read in the press. I still have a contract with Celtics and that is what matters most to me,” he said.
