A military police officer keeping guard told The Zimbabwean: "This is embarrassing as only senior officers' vehicles would be serviced at private garages at the expense of fleets serving troops." He also attributed the breakdown to the current economic crisis which 'made the army force members in charge of service vehicles meet the servicing and fuel costs from own pockets.
