
“I urge unity in the party as we work for those who need a change in Zimbabwe. We have started working on the next elections and this time we will use modern data systems. We will not contest unless all election procedures are followed properly. We need all people in the diaspora to vote wherever they are,” she said.
Makone also promised to engage the SA government about the Special Dispensation Permits. “During my time as Minister of Home Affairs we agreed that people who were qualified to get those permits should not be given any time limit,” she said. “As soon as I get to Harare I will write a letter to Home Affairs asking for clarification.”
