“This is the reason Violet why there were so many Assisted Votes in 2013. To a large extent those Assisted Votes were out of fear. It wasn’t that people were unable to vote, people would actually go and seek out ZANU PF youths and say ‘come and watch me vote’ and then if some people voted for MDC you would know that I am not the one because you saw me vote. So the Assisted Votes was a security against post election violence,” said Derek Matyszak.
This is very true! This will happen again in 2018, now that MDC is advising its supporters to join Zanu PF and join in all the party’s political activities but when elections come to then vote MDC T. If Tsvangirai had any brain at all, he would know that the best solution would be to boycott elections but not even a team of wild horses will stop Tsvangirai & Co. from contesting.
They are once again wasting yet another chance to end the Zanu PF dictatorship for the selfish gain of handful of them getting a seat on the gravy train! We, the people, are to blame for allowing these sell-outs to betray us so easily and never held to account.
